1. Service Description

CivitaDriver provides private NCC (Noleggio Con Conducente — Hire with Driver) chauffeur services from and to the port of Civitavecchia, airports, city hotels, and custom destinations across central Italy, as well as private day tours.

All services are provided pursuant to Italian law governing NCC operators (Legislative Decree 285/1992 and subsequent amendments).

2. Booking and Confirmation

Bookings are made by submitting a quote request form, by email, or via WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed only when the client receives written confirmation from CivitaDriver specifying the date, time, route, vehicle and agreed price.

Unconfirmed requests do not constitute a binding agreement.

3. Pricing

All prices are fixed and all-inclusive: motorway tolls, fuel, parking, waiting time (within the limits specified in section 4), luggage assistance and VAT are included.

No meter or time-based charges apply. The final price is the price confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

4. Waiting Time

For airport and port transfers, one (1) hour of free waiting time is included after the scheduled pickup time or after the confirmed flight/ship arrival, whichever is later.

For all other pickups, thirty (30) minutes of free waiting time are included. Additional waiting time beyond the free allowance may be charged at the rate agreed in writing.

5. Flight and Ship Monitoring

For airport pickups, CivitaDriver tracks the client's flight in real time. In the event of a delay, the driver will adjust accordingly at no extra charge, within reasonable limits.

For cruise ship arrivals, we monitor the ship's expected arrival time. Clients are encouraged to notify us in advance of any schedule changes communicated by their cruise line.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service: full refund.

Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled service: 50% of the agreed fare will be charged.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service, or no-shows: 100% of the agreed fare will be charged.

In the event of cruise port cancellations or force majeure events beyond the client's control (port closures, weather diversions), no cancellation fee applies.

7. Passenger Conduct and Vehicle Use

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. Consumption of food and beverages may be restricted at the driver's discretion.

The client is responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers during the journey. CivitaDriver reserves the right to charge for cleaning or repair costs in such cases.

Maximum passenger capacity and luggage limits are determined by the vehicle type confirmed at booking. Exceeding these limits may result in the service being refused without refund.

8. Liability

All vehicles are fully insured for passengers in accordance with Italian law. CivitaDriver assumes full responsibility for the safe transport of passengers.

CivitaDriver is not liable for: delays caused by road traffic, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond the driver's control; losses or damage to personal items left in the vehicle; flight or cruise cancellations.

In the event that a service cannot be completed due to a vehicle breakdown, CivitaDriver will make every reasonable effort to arrange an alternative vehicle at no extra cost to the client.

9. Child Safety

Appropriate child safety seats are available at no extra charge upon request at the time of booking. It is the client's responsibility to specify the age and weight of children when booking.

Italian law requires child seats for children under 12 years of age or under 150 cm in height when travelling in a vehicle.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law. The service is operated by Cristiano Palombi, Via Maestrale 7, Civitavecchia (RM), Italy. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Civitavecchia (RM).
